This Pre-Solicitation notice is for Construction and Renovation of a Combined Arms Collective Training Facility (CACTF) PHASE 1B at Muscatatuck Urban Training Center (MUTC), Butlerville, Indiana. The USPFO for Indiana intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and to award as single, firm fixed-price contract (100 % SET ASIDE) for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) for New Construction and Renovation of multiple buildings in compliance with plans, specifications and drawings. All (SDVOSB) qualified responsible sources are encouraged to bid. The estimated construction cost is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. To be eligible for contract award, a firm must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Firms can register via the CCR Internet site at http://www.ccr.gov or by contacting the CCR Information Center at 1-888-227-2423. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236210. Funds are not presently available for this acquisition. No contract award will be made until funds are available. Interested offerors are required to submit their representations and certifications on-line at http://orca.bpn.gov. The tentative date for issuing the Request for Proposal on-or-about 6 January 2010. The tentative date for the pre-bid conference is on-or-about 14 January 2010, 10:00 a.m. local time at MUTC, Chapel Build # 75, Butlerville Indiana.47223 All contractors are encouraged to attend. It is requested that any questions you might have for the pre-bid must be sent via EMAIL by 25 January 2010, 12:00 p.m. to veronica.ernstes@us.army.mil. No phone calls will be accepted. This solicitation is a competitive bid and there will be a formal public bid opening. The bid opening is scheduled for on-or-about 8 February 2010, 10:00 a.m. local time at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center (MUTC). Construction contract completion time is one year after award.
